Objective     To obtain a position in World Wide Web page design where hard work and achievement will be recognized with additional responsibility, and the opportunity for personal growth. Also available for contract work designing, authoring, and maintaining WWW pages for companies (big or small) and individuals, and for one-on-one tutoring on how to use the Internet, Internet tools, or your personal computer.
 


 

Skill     Know HTML, Visual Basic, Pascal, with broad knowledge on the World Wide Web, as well as web browser, including Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 & 3.0, and Netscape Navigator.

Know Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0's latest technologies, such as CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), VBS (Visual Basic Script), In-line Frames, and etc. Extremely extensive knowledge of Internet, the constructing of web pages, and graphics designing.

Proficiency in IBM PC (Windows 95, Windows 3.1) and UNIX system. Application experience including industry standards such as Adobe Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel), TrueSpace, Adobe Premiere, and etc.


Also fluent in Chinese: Mandarin.

Major in Mathematics (Dean's List).
 


 

Experience    
1996 - Web page design for Star Trek Novel Author, Dave Galanter. The site that I designed can be found at http://www.tir.com/~sgent.
 
1996 - Have written a Windows 95 version screen saver (Holodeck 3 screen saver) in Visual Basic 4. It can be downloaded at http://www.starbase21.com/holodeck3/hd3.html.
 
1995~1996 - The web site, HOLODECK 3 (http://www.starbase21.com/holodeck3), that I designed has been recognized/awarded by several companies, including Microsoft and Yahoo. This site has been accessed by at least 180,000 visitors since November 1995. I am still maintaining and adding more pages to this site.
