i like Kim, but I agree, they treat him, (both writers and inside Trek Universe) like an adorable moron. I'd like to see him get a field commision, Lieutenant Junior Grade at least. I'd like to see him lip off to Janeway just once. "Shut up, -Cap'n-. If Chakotay wasn't such a pussy whipped loser, we'd be home by now."
