As I'm from Europe (Austria) it is certainly possible that I only know older episodes because it always takes a long time to get them translated into german. But maybe that's why I think VOY has a good story. There are different cases, in which the translation of theoriginal is better then the original itself.

The Action in these episodes - well, you are right it's not really "fascinating" - but compare it with TNG or TOS! The action in a film or a series depends not only not only of the number of fired phasers or photon torpedos is also important how it is presented to the
consument - this means to the people who watch ST - and in the way of presentation (special effects) VOY is top (in the part of ST).

I know we can quarrel about other aspects which are better in TNG or DS9 but I wrote my rating in awareness of the whole impression the episodes left.
