Smoetimes during battles Enginnering can not hear everything
happening on the bridge and be able to react...so the Chief
comes to the bridge and with a touch of the pad tells
engineering exactly what they need to do and vice versa.
( of course I'm sure it was placed there so the creaters,
could save money on building engineering sets.)
