: : You're right it does seemed to be forced...Your idea sounds great but I hate to
: : use it word for word without your permission, it wouldn't seem fair.

: Dude, I don't care. If I say I don't want you to use it then don't use it. But do whatever you feel sounds right. I'm just here to make suggestions, not to compound your problem by saying "Well, this is how it should really sound but you can't use it cause it's my idea..." Ghost Ship wasn't my idea, it was Ross Glen's, and he's the guy giving me the best feedback I could hope for on it. If you really like my ideas then use them! If I wanted to use my own ideas, you wouldn't know about them!

Mikes got a good point. You both do really. If you post an idea or even a bit of text, you must realize that by the nature of the internet, someone is likely to pick it up. However, by the same coin, if you state an idea and then request that no one use it because you're going to, then most people will heed your request. However, if you don't follow through, or you don't even intend to follow through, don't get mad or jealous if someone else pull it out and does something about it. Just be grateful someone thought your idea was so cool. And maybe they'll thank you at the Writers awards. ;-)

Which reminds me. Pockets books is having that competition. Anyone who hasn't checked it out should.
Personally I'm tempted to have the Guild do a little number myself, but I'm out of ideas. Anyone out there think of something?
