My Voyager Idea: Part IIPosted by Mike Wright on March 22, 1997 at 20:17:58: Ok, it starts off on Voyager where the Doc revives the captain, and reports that Voyager is in orbit of a star system a light-year away from the battle zone. When no one claims responsibility for sending them away from the battle, they discover that Neelix is on board. In the mean time, Neelix pops up in the sickbay of one of the (I'll just call them Alt-Federation) starships, who had beamed him off his ship before it exploded. The captain of the ship tells them that the fleet managed to ward off the monster ship with the help of the other fleet, but it wouldn't be long before the monster ship would be back. The crew of the ship starts talking about ways of killing the monster ship, and Neelix mentions the Borg from this galaxy. This gets a discussion going that maybe the monster ship is similar, and will not function without its biological components. Unfortunately, they can't think of any way to get to them, because the biological parts are constantly regenerated somehow. About this time, Voyager returns to the fighting zone and finds the remains of several ships, including Neelix's ship. They assume that he has been killed, and so they begin to return back on course, when the monster vessel returns, and attacks them. Voyager tries to outmanuever the ship, but it is quickly caught in a tractor beam. The crew think they are about to be boarded, but nothing happens. In fact, the monster vessel does a partial powerdown, and Voyager is able to scan parts of the vessel. Janeway takes over an away team, to see if they can find a way of freeing Voyager. But suddenly, the Alt-Federation fleet appears and begins firing on the monster ship, which repowers itself and lets go of Voyager in order to attack the fleet. Neelix and a group of Alt-Fed officers take a shuttle over to the monster ship and hard dock with it, and are able to get inside it, where they meet up with Janeways away team. They are able to find the main bridge of the ship, and find the controls for the wormhole device. Kim says that if they can activate the device, they may be able to send the monster vessel back into the other galaxy. One of the other officers say that if it's in any way missaligned, it will cause an explosion that could destroy the entire fleet, and they had no way of warning them. So the Holo-Doc says that they can use the same method that (and this is a leap of faith that the next season cliffhanger will actually be "Scorpion") the Borg used to assimilate those other beings and take over the ship in that way. So they start off, and in the mean time, Kim manages to find the main computer core, that says that Voyager was infected with a special virus that, once activated by the monster vessel, will cause the crew to beam over to the vessel and their molecular structures will collapse and they will become one with the ship. And as they watch, the Borg implants the doc created start to affect the monster vessel in wierd ways. Voyager is able to contact them, saying that the bio-regenerative fields on the vessel are starting to de-stabalize, and that a wormhole is starting to open. So Voyager beams the crew off, and the vessel moves into the wormhole, where it promptly explodes for no apparent reason. Later on, the commander of the Alt-Fed fleet thanks captain Janeway, saying that she has given them hopes of fighting back against their enemy and taking back their home. So the end shows the whole fleet traveling into a wormhole and dissapearing. Now keep in mind what I said in the first episode, these wormholes can only be opened inter-galactically in direct points, therefor making it impossible for Voyager to use them to get back home. Think of it as a Galaxy that only faces the Delta Quad, so that is the only place it can travel.
