: I got this really cool idea for a two part season cliffhanger for Voyager. Voyager is flying along and encounters a planet where people belong to another Federation of planets: except this Federation exists in entirely another Galaxy. When they investigate, they find that they crossed over with a special transwarp technology, that only works inter-galactically. (so they couldn't use it to get home) But with deeper research, they find out that this culture had to escape to this galaxy because their Federation encountered another race which assimilated it. The crew thinks that it may possibly be the Borg, however how could the Borg be in another galaxy? As they start to head back home, a massive wormhole opens, and several starships come out, VERY similar to the real Federation starships. They are all heavily damaged, and as the wormhole collapses, another opens, and out pops the most massive and ugly looking space/dinosaur with wings/beast that looks like it's been assimilated by the Borg. It's a massive starship, created by another culture, with an external bio-hull which makes it move something like Godzilla. Kind of a huge spacial trooper sort of. It's hard to explain, but let me just say that it is MASSIVELY HUGE. Bigger than a planet. In fact, the first thing it does is blow up the planet, with a weapon similar to the Death Star Laser. Then there is a massive running battle, and Voyager has to join up with the other fleet in order to get away. But in the running battle, Voyager is heavily damaged, and is just about to be pulverized by the monster when another fleet of ships comes in and starts fighting (Possibly the Borg, haven't thought it through enough yet). But in the mean time, everyone on the bridge gets knocked except Neelix, who takes the helm and tries to lead Voyager away. Then he gets a message from engineering saying they have the warp drive back online, so he sets the helm to go into warp in exactly 5 minutes, away from the battle. Then he leaves Voyager in his own ship (the one from "The Chute") cause he gets this idea that maybe it will distract the monster. Which I guess you could say it does, cause the last thing we see before Voyager warps off is Neelix's ship getting hit by weapons fire and exploding. End of part one. Does this sound interesting enough to tell you about part two?

That, my friend, is the most kick ass idea that I have
heard for that show in a long time. What would be cool
to go along with it would be for voyager to join the other
fleet and continue with them for a season or so. That way
there would be more interaction between people you would know
as running characters. It would also be better in battles.
