Tell me if this sounds good and funny...

Lieutenant Lavelle strolled into Engineering, hoping to catch commander ChPar before he went off duty. The Klingon Exchange officer was famous for his lack of social skills, and after hours immediately retired to quarters. This tended to amuse Lavelle.
He liked a challenge.
Taking a quick glance around the enormous, three story tall Engine Room, he spotted the Klingon near the magnetic constrictor coils. He was wearing his Starfleet engineering uniform, with a metallic sash around his shoulder, and his long hair tied into a ponytail in the back.
ChPar! Lavelle called out, walking over to the officer. He could tell that the Klingon was rolling his eyes when he caught site of him.
ChPar, I just needed to give you this, Sam said lightly, handing him a padd. Its the warp field efficiency reports that captain Arkcana had asked for.
ChPar looked it over, then grunted. The captain asked me to do this for him, he said in a deep, intimidating voice.
I know, but I know that the new modifications have been taking a little longer than expected, and I figured you wouldnt have the time.
ChPar looked over the padd again. These tests are very thorough. More thorough then I would have run them in fact. Thank you lieutenant, though you were mistaken. I would have had plenty of time to do the report.
Sam winked. I know. All that time alone in your quarters, youve got to be doing something.
ChPar grunted, and set the padd down, going back to his work on the constrictors. What I do in my personal time is none of your business.
Sam held up his hands. Fine, fine Youre right of course. But then, it wouldnt hurt to have a little fun, now would it?
ChPar eyed him carefully. Fun? What kind of fun?
Lavelle grinned. Well, I know that Klingons love holodecks But Ive got something better.
An hour later and the two of them were standing in Shuttle bay one. The bay was completely empty, as all the shuttles were neatly packed away in their grave chutes. All the officers assigned to the deck were off duty, as shuttle operations had yet to be needed on board.
ChPar looked at the empty bay, not quite getting what Lavelle considered to be fun about it. So lieutenant, what is it thats better than combat on the holodeck?
Just a minute, Lavelle said. After only a minute, the doors opened again, revealing Dyson and Dr. Dara Sorauf, the ship counselor.
Ah good, everyones here, Lavelle said. Well ChPar, Klingons are well known for their love of combat But Ive found that its so, well two-dimensional. Id like to try something with you, if you dont mind, in three-dimensions.
What do you mean? ChPar asked trepidatiously, noticing the evil grins on the faces of the others.
Computer, Lavelle said with a grin, seal all passageways in the shuttle bay, and deactivate gravitational support systems.

Captain Arkcana walked onto the bridge about to enter his ready room, when commander Reameus held up his hand. He was standing next to the ops station, where Ensign Brooke had taken over for Lavelle. Sir, someone just deactivated the gravity in the main shuttlebay Should we reactivate?
Oh, no its fine, the captain said with a grin. Dr. Sorauf and Lieutenant Lavelle are running a test on the affects of zero-g combat on Klingons. It actually sounds like fun, Im going to join them as soon as Im done unpacking. What about you, sound interesting?
Nathan laughed. Are you kidding? Zero-G combat training with a Klingon? Sounds like a blast.
