I was cheating on my wife with the actress from earth: the final conflict when I heard this story. I was on the set of the show meeting her when I ran into gene Roddenberry's wife. So I said "Mrs roddenberry I have to ask why you are producing a show with your husband's name on it when he is dead"......she told me this tale.

it seems she was trying to do a show based on one of her husban's old ideas and wanted to keep it in the tradition of her husband. She felt RICK BERMAN WAS RUINING her husband's idea of star trek. That was when she showed my the script berman was working on:

it was about Wesley Crusher and his adventures.

it started out with him travaling with the traveller but he sooned grew bored with exploring and learning. When he wanted to have fun the traveller would beat him with a comet he wore around his waist or make wesley go behind the shed and get him an asteroid he woud he would beat wesley with. So after so long Wesley ran away and got involved with a very bad crowd. he started hanging out with the vorta and jem hadar........who in order to get federation secrets out of him...got him addicted to kelaseel white, the drugs the jem hadar use. So there was wesley standing on the corner of the galaxy all strung out on white and dealing to the ferengei kids for 2 bars of gold pressed latnum.

Well soon wesley started to fall in love with an orion slave girl called Greeny and they ran off together but their shipped crashed on a planet where wesley started to suffer from violent withdrawal symptoms because there was no white on the planet and he sold his last batch for the escape ship.

He almost dies on the planet except he was saved by yoda who took hi and Greeny in and nursed them back to health and got wesley clean and sober. esley said"thanks liitle green dude for saving my life but how will i stay clean when i get off this planet"
Yoda said" do not wory boy genius I will teach you the ways of the force I will and then you will be clean and sober always for such is the power of the force" So after many months of training wesley learned the force and lost his craving for the white drug. Now wesley was feeling good about himself and was going to ask Greeny to marry him and he told yoda of his plans. Yoda frowned and said "you musn't young wesley for your sister she is and you are both powerful with the force." Wesley was heartbroken about not being able to marry Greeny cause she was his sister. So to make him feel better yoda gave him a pet blue monkey and wesley felt better and was happy he found his sister.

Eventually wesley, greeny and the blue monkey were rescued and went on vacation to earth. Wesley wanted to see his favorite great uncle Dr. Emmet Brown. well one day wesley was playing with Greeny and the blue monkey when he found Dr. Brown's old time machine made out of a delorian...so he wanted to have fun and he,greeny, and the blue monkey took a joy ride but ended up in 20th century earth. Well when he got there he found a bald man plotting to conquer the world....which if he succeeded would change the time line and destroy the federation. Well this bald villian was bragging to be the smartest man on earth and would conquer the world and noone could stop him. So wesley having to save the future sad"bad man I will stop you..i challenge you" the bald man said"Very well young man i accept but i am very smart and know everything and there is nothing I cannot do." wesley yelled"nothing you cannot do? so if i give you a ask you can't do you will leave the earth alone for now"..."yes" replied the bald man. So wesley asked him some questions"you know everything..and can find your way anywhere anyplace at anytime?" to which the bald bad guy replied"yes to all of those". so wesley said than my challenge to you is get lost!" The bald man was furious and screamed"Drats and curses on you boy...you win this day buy you have not heard the last from Me!"..and the bad guy left and wesley saved the day. Well then all of the sudden a man in a blue suit and red cape flew down from the sky and said" Young man I am superman and that man you beat was my arch rival Lex Luther. He is in charge of an eveil group called the legion of doom. My friends and I could use a person like you at the Hall of Justice and your sister and blue monkey can join to." Wesley was very happy now..he had found a purpose and joined the Super Friends...who gave him and his sister and the little blue monkey really cool costumes and capes.....they decided to call themselves the Wonder Twins.

Well after i read the script I was flabber ghasted and told Mrs Rodenberry i could see why she felt she had to protect the integrety of gene's work and wished her well.
