What the hell is heappening to television

The season began around the beginning of september and ran all the way until the end of may or beginning of june. You saw all new episodes except for maybe three reruns at thanksgiving, Christmas and new years weeks. Not now...All you see are tv series that change nites more than most people change their underwear....they about a vacation from thansgiving time(American thanksgivingtime) and come back in sometime in January....and show you maybe one or two new episodes and then take another two week hiatus and show more reruns. To top that the tv season is starting later and later..around the end of sept. and in some cases not until late october(X-Files in point)....then have the aydacity to take these long vavcations then they have the nerve to call it quits at the beginning of may....or have the nerve (such as DS9) to show about another month of reruns then show two new episodes before calling it quits. The worse part about this whole thing is that not only are the seasons getting shorter and erratic but also this when we hear about all these TV stars demanding and even getting all this money! They cry and whine they work to haed and need a bajillion dollars to do each show.....Acccckkkkkk! what a crock! Hell if I pais them that much money I would demand a tv season like the old ones...where you actually had new episodes every week! Just my two cents....now going to dream about the era where you had exciting and new episodes every week.....ahhhh for the days of Miami Vice!
