Posted by: Oracle on January 27, 1998 at 12:48:25 Maybe you could use both the stories and have Picard or Sisko going to Talos IV because they were requested by the Talosians, and then facing the death penalty, they go against orders and save the Talosians from whatever trouble they get into and this helps them to be understood more by the Fedceration, they eventually join. The Federation would have a new enemy, and after being defeated the first time, they come back in a second book for revenge, with reinforcements. Every thought of a writing partner?
