Man, don't you think that you are making WAY to big a deal over a MINOR slip up. Besides the map you posted was hardly official. Though, I will concede that in the encyclopedia there is a map that clearly shows that the alpha and delta quadrants are on opposite sides of the galaxy and not adjacent as they were in 7 of 9's computer display. So what? That's not even the writer's fault. The display panel readouts are the responsibility of the production staff. Why can't we Star Trek fans just watch the show and enjoy it for what it is? And not have to sit there nitpicking over every signal minute detail?
That is my two cents...
