Posted by: 2 of 4 on February 03, 1998 at 12:55:04 When we first started buying cards, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I think it was $9.00 for a starter deck. I thought, "This looks like fun". Then the guy behind the counter said, "You should probably buy a few expansion packs. So I bought 5 packs.---Three weeks later, my husband and I had bought 5 boxes! Now there's the "Alternate Universe Set", the "Q Continuum Set", "First Anthology", "The Two Player Introductory Set", the "Fajio Collection", and "First Contact". My husband and I each have a set of everything. We have way to much invested to ever quit playing! :) If you ever want to get back into it, "First Contact" is a good place to start. You could play the "Borg" affiliation and not have to rely much on any other set.
