Why is NOBODY listening to me?
Posted by: Mike Wright on February 06, 1998 at 17:22:25 The ships of the fleet belong to the Fifth Fleet, and though a good portion are in fact dedicated to the war, not all the ships have been assigned to it. The Thunderchild, for example, is halfway across the Delta Quadrant by now! They're not coming home any time soon!!! And this play on the Dominion war is stupid anyway. It would be far more impressive if this crossover had some kind of original idea behind it. I also protest to involving the Enterprise. It's not in the Fifth fleet at all. Also, the Shadow Horseman is part of the SO fleet, not in normal circulation. Of course it's easy to bring it into a crossover (I've done it thousands of times) it still isn't part of the fleet, and certainly isn't assigned to Starbase 47. I would also protest to involving Deep Space Nine. We had what, two episodes of the Renegade around it, four episodes of the Protostar, and just about every other fan fic has mentioned it once or twice. All I'm saying is, do something cool and original, like the Invasion series from Pocketbooks.
