Posted by: Oracle on January 25, 1998 at 13:30:00 How about a distant cousin or a lost party of Talosians who come through the wormhole, or are found in the gamma quadrant, somehow split up from the rest of the race. Maybe years ago, parties were sent to all corners of the galaxy to explore, (it was never said how long Talosians live I don't think, so they could live to a great age, or go into a coma like state for long journeys), and in this way they can be linked to Voyager. Another idea for the story. They could have made an enemy in these explorations, and request the assistance from the Federation to defeat them, perhaps an enemy with great telepathic powers, much like the Talosians, and these could be a newe enemy, equal in stature to the Dominion or the Borg.
