Well, I personally haven't heard all that much talk about Star Trek dying, but I can see where you are coming from. Australia hardly airs Trek anymore etc. I believe that Trek is a continuing series, like TOS to TNG, then DS9 and now Voyager. Star Trek will contiune to live and grow, as long as the new episodes and characters are devloped (like they are). Not only the characters, but new Series as well - LIKE Voyager. I am sure that new series will be developed as soon as the Directors believe that Voyager has had its fair share, and a new Trek will begin again.
